Three new Ryzen mobile APUs have leaked

At the end of October AMD announced their new Ryzen mobile series of processors, CPUs that combine the power of AMD’s Ryzen and Vega architectures to create a compelling offering when it comes to both mobile CPU and GPU performance. 

New leaks from Informatica Cero have revealed that more Ryzen-powered APUs are on the way, with a new Ryzen 3 Mobile U-series variant as well as a never before seen G-series of Ryzen mobile products.  

AMD’s Ryzen Mobile G-series will offer higher levels of power consumption than their U-series, which means that these new APUs are likely to provide a significant performance advantage over their low-power U-series counterparts. The Ryzen 5 2400G will come with four CPU cores and eight threads alongside a Vega 11 GPU, offering 702 stream processors on the GPU side. AMD will also be offering a more affordable Ryzen 3 2200G APU which will have four cores and four threads with Vega 8 graphics, giving the GPU a total of 512 stream processors.

Sadly the clock speeds of these two parts are unknown at this time, though they will be available in both 65W and 35W versions. These new Ryzen Mobile processors are expected to release in Q1 of 2018.
