AOC releases three new G1 series 144Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitors

AMD’s FreeSync technology has become increasingly common in recent months, becoming commonplace amongst low-end PC displays while also making headway into the consumer television market.

AOC has launched three new FreeSync entries into their gaming display lineup, all of which offer a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1080p, delivering affordable pricing and high-quality VA-type panels.

These new monitors make up AOC’s new G1 series of gaming monitors, with the C24G1 offering a display size of 23.6 inches, a C27G1 with a display size of 27 inches and a larger C32F1 which offers a 32-inch screen size. All of these monitors will ship with curved screens, with the C24G1 coming with a 1500R radius curvature while the C27G1 and the C32G1 offer a larger 1800R curvature.

All three of these displays will ship with HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA inputs, with only the monitor’s HDMI and DisplayPort inputs offering FreeSync compatibility. All of these monitors use a WLED backlight and deliver a 1ms response time, though this is configurable to 4ms if users want the screen to provide reduced levels of motion blur.

Both the 24 and 27-inch models will offer height and tilt options on the display’s VESA-compliant stand, with the larger 32-inch model only offering tilt options.
