ASUS’ TUF Gaming VG279QM will deliver 280Hz refresh rates and ELMB-sync on an IPS panel
Today, we have some information on ASUS’ TUF Gaming VG279QM monitor, a Full HD 280Hz monitor which features an IPS display panel and support for Adaptive-Sync, which is supported by both AMD and Nvidia.Â
One of the killer features of this display is its support for both Adaptive-Sync and Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) concurrently, which allows blur reduction and variable refresh rates to be used at the same time. This is rare amongst adaptive-sync compatible displays, and a key feature of ASUS’ TUF series.Â
This information comes via TFT Central, who spotted this screen over on Taobao. ASUS’ TUF Gaming VG279QM features VESA’s DisplayHDR 400 certification, a 1ms MPRT response time and support for both HDMI 2.0 (2x) and DisplayPort 1.2 (x1) connections. The display also supports Aura Sync RGB lighting. At this time the US/European pricing and release date of this monitor are unknown. Â
