Corsair Job Listing points towards Monitor Ambitions

In recent years Corsair has diversified their PC hardware offerings, starting off as a memory manufacturer to become a juggernaut that manufacturers, cases, coolers, keyboards, mice and even complete systems.

Now it looks like Corsair has plans to enter the monitor market, with a recent job listing on indeed requestion applications for the role of Monitor Product Manager. This job listing calls for individuals who can define a gaming display roadmap for the company, develop competitive products, define feature sets by analysing market trends, is willing to travel and has at least five years of experience in marketing for both consumer and gaming products.

This job listing seems to indicate that Corsair is still in the early stages of developing a gaming monitor, which means that it will be some time before we will see Corsair branded gaming displays on the market.

The video below is for illustrative purposes only. It is an old Corsair monitor April Fools joke.

Longtime followers of Corsair will remember Corsair’s B11-ND RGB Gaming Monitor, the company’s 2016 April Fools product announcement, which promised to deliver a “Fully Immersive” gaming experience by flashing RGB LEDs directly into the eyes of their users. Let’s hope that Corsair has abandoned their R&D efforts on that particular design.
