HANNspree releases 27-inch HQ272PQD HS-IPS Quantum Dot 1440p monitor

HANNspree has launched their new HQ272PQD PC monitor, offering users an HS-IPS Quantum Dot 1440p monitor with a display size of 27 inches. With this panel, the HQ272PQD offers 116% Adobe RGB, 110% NTSC, and 156% HDTV BR.709 colour, delivering end-users a great viewing experience. 

With a price tag of £279, this 27-inch 1440p panel can be considered affordable when compared to other Quantum Dot monitor offerings, though it is worth noting that this display lacks support for HDR and variable refresh rate technologies like FreeSync, shipping with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. 

Unlike other affordable 1440p displays, the HANNspree HQ272PQD offers support for VESA stands and monitor arms, a feature that is often absent from low-cost monitors, making this display great for multi-monitor configurations with 3rd party monitor stands.  

For connectivity this display supports both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, offering two HDMI 1.4 connections, a DisplayPort connection and a Mini-DisplayPort input. The monitor also features dual 2W speakers, though we would recommend using this display with an external audio setup or an audio headset.
