Nvidia releases their Geforce 399.24 driver for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Assetto Corsa Competizione

Nvidia has officially released their Geforce 399.24 WHQL driver, which ships with Game Ready support for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout Open Beta and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Alongside these game=specific optimisations, Nvidia has also addressed their game performance issues when moving from AMD’s Threadripper 16-core processors to the company’s 32-core processors. This fix will allow AMD Threadripper users to access their full gaming performance of Nvidia’s Geforce graphics cards. This driver iteration also addresses a bug that prevented driver installs on some Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad-based systems.

Both Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Assetto Corsa Competizione will be updated to support Ray Tracing at a later date.
