Nvidia releases their Geforce 416.16 WHQL driver for Windows 10 and DXR

Nvidia has officially launched their Geforce 416.16 driver for Windows 10-based systems, adding support for DXR and Windows 10’s October 2018 update, which released earlier this week. 

This driver release is exclusive to Windows 10 users, addressing several issues which include performance drops when TAA is enabled in Rainbow Six Seige and a Netflix bug which impacted Turing users when using an HDMI connection over USB Type-C.

Fixed Issues in this Release

– [Pascal GPUs][Quake HD Remix]: Black square glitches appear when using the Quake HD Remix mod with soft shadows enabled. [2277990] 
– [GeForce GTX 1060][Regime][Rainbow 6: Siege]: Temporal antialiasing causes a drop in performance. [2139724]

Open Issues in Version 416.16 WHQL

As with every released driver, version 416.16 WHQL of the Release 415 driver has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. This section includes lists of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others may have workaround solutions.
