G.Skill announces their new 4x8GB 4400MHz DDR4 memory kit

G.Skill International, one of the world’s most well-known manufacturers of high-performance memory has today revealed their never-before-seen Trident-Z dual-channel 4400MHz memory kit which is designed to run in a 4x8GB configuration.

This new memory kit is designed to run on Intel’s Z370 Coffee Lake platform, with all kits being validated on an ASUS ROG Maximus X HERO (WiFi AC) motherboard with an i7 8700K CPU, offering blistering fast 4400MHz frequencies with low CL 19-19-19-39 timings.

These kits have been sourced and binned ultra-fast Samsung B-die DDR4 memory ICs, which allow G.Skill to create such fast memory. These memory DIMMs run at 1.5V, which is exceptionally high for DDR4 memory, though common for ICs that exceed 4000MHz. Below is a screenshot which showcases a validated memory kit after running through several stress tests.

At this time G.Skill has not released their official pricing for this memory kit, though it is expected to be high given the memory’s high capacity and extreme levels of performance.
