G.Skill reveals their new Sniper X series of DDR4 memory

G.Skill have unveiled their first new DDR4 memory kit of 2018, offering a modern external aesthetic as well as some speed and capacity characteristics. This is G.Skill’s new Sniper X series, which delivers three unique designs that are based on military camouflage, allowing these memory DIMMs to blend into a wide range of DIY systems.

The Sniper X series will come with speeds ranging from 2400MHz to 3600MHz, delivering kit sizes of up to 128GB (8x16GB), producing both blitzing fast operation as well as extreme levels of capacity. This makes these kits ideal for gaming and digital content creation, providing a range of speed and capacity options to suit your specific needs.

These kits will come in Classic Jungle, Urban and Digital variants, each of which is designed to suit specific rig colour schemes and themes. G.Skill has designed these kits with Intel XMP 2.0 in mind, giving Intel users a one clock setup option with modern CPU platforms. Sadly AMD Ryzen is not mentioned in G.Skill’s press release.

If the colour scheme is to your liking, there seem to be very few things to complain about with these new memory kits, delivering a range of speed and capacity options to suit almost any PC builder. Let’s just hope that DRAM prices start to decrease soon, allowing PC builders to once again invest in large banks of memory without breaking the bank.

G.Skill plans to release their new Sniper X series of DDR4 memory later in Q1. Sadly, no pricing information is available at this time.
