At Computex, G.Skill have been showing off Trident-Z 4200MHz memory kits with CAS latencies of 19-21-21-41 with both dual channel and quad channel 8GB kits being available. Beyond this G.Skill are also showing faster Trident-Z kits withÂ
Beyond this G.Skill are also showing faster Trident-Z kits with faster memory speeds of 4400MHz and 4800MHz with lower CAS timings of 19-19-19-39. All of these memory kits are designed for Intel’s latest X299 platform, requiring XMP 2.0 enabled systems to run at rated speeds.Â

Since these memory kits are running at such high speeds and low CAS timings, they can be expected to cost vast sums of money when they are eventually released to the public. At this time it is unknown how much fast DDR4 memory will affect Intel’s latest CPU platform.Â
