EVGA has revealed a behemoth of a power supply, one that even puts the newly announced Corsair AX1600i to shame in terms of sheer capacity. Yes, this PSU is a monster, and yes, it is unable to achieve an 80 Titanium, but it is undoubtedly an impressive unit to behold.

The EVGA SUPERNOVA 2200 P2, an 80 Platinum PSU that offers a total of 2200 watts of power, with the ability to produce 183.3 amps on its 12-volt rail. This unit is easily the most powerful PSU that we have ever seen.

Looking at this units wattage rating, we can see that this unit is only capable of using 200-240V power, making it unsuitable for standard 110V mains power in the US, but in an ideal range for those of us in Europe. With this efficiency rating and this enormous wattage/power capacity, it is clear that this power supply is designed for cryptocurrency miners, though at this time EVGA has not released any pricing or availability information about this colossal PSU.
