Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have released a free demo/trial for A Plague Tale: Innocence, a story-rich title which offers fantastic visuals and an emotional story.

Until September 16th, A Plague Tale will also be available with a 33% discount on Steam, making the game £26.79. This sale comes thanks to Focus Home Interactive’s Publisher Weekend/sale. Other popular titles like Vampyr and The Surge are also available at reduced prices during this sale.

A Plague Tale: Innocence has recieve high review scores from a large number of review outlets, making the release of this demo a great opportunity to try out this otherwise low-profile title. Graphically, this game can also offer scenes which stretch beyond what many expect from a non-AAA release, making the game a highlight of 2019 for many gamers.

The game follows two siblings, Amicia and her younger brother Hugo, as both fight to survive the Hundred Years War while France is under the grips of the Black Death. Throughout the game, players will need to survive a series of puzzles, distract hordes of hungry rats and survive the rampage of murderous knights.
