Cyberpunk 2077 is returning to the PlayStation Store this month
In short, Sony believed that CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077 in a poor state, delisting the game due to various technical issues. At the time, PlayStation’s Jim Ryan stated that Sony did not want to “knowingly sell a game that might result in a bad experience for them (players).”
On June 21st, Cyberpunk 2077 will be available once again on the PlayStation Store, though it is worth noting that Cyberpunk 2077 still has performance issues on baseline PS4 systems.

In relation to Current Report no. 66/2020 of 18 December 2020, the Management Board of CD PROJEKT S.A. with a registered office in Warsaw hereby publicly discloses the decision by Sony Interactive Entertainment to reinstate the availability of the digital edition of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation Store, effective on 21 June 2021.

Sony says that PlayStation 4 users should expect poor performance
Sony has admitted that Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on PlayStation 4 consoles remains poor and that CD Projekt Red plans to continue patching the game to increase the game’s stability. That said, Cyberpunk 2077 delivers stronger performance on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5 consoles, thanks to the increase in CPU, GPU, and memory performance within both systems.Â

  SIE can confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be re-listed on PlayStation Store starting June 21, 2021. Users will continue to experience performance issues with the PS4 edition while CD Projekt Red continues to improve stability across all platforms. SIE recommends playing the title on PS4 Pro or PS5 for the best experience.
