CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, opting to shun the recent trend of PC platform exclusivity.

GOG is CD Projekt Red’s platform of choice, as their ownership of the platform ensures that 100% of the game’s revenue will go to them. Beyond that, GOG offers its customers a DRM-free version of their game, free from any online requirements or other validation requirements.

After releasing Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales exclusively on GOG, the company learned exactly how loyal many PC gamers are the Steam platform, with low sales eventually forcing the developer to release their 2D RPG on Steam. Since then, CD Projekt Red has committed to releasing Cyberpunk 2077 on multiple PC platforms, offering their customers choice in an era that’s getting defined by platform exclusivity.

In help incentivise GOG purchases, CD Projekt plans to offer customers an “Exclusive Digital Booklet” for the game, an extra set of “Wallpapers and Avatars”, “Print Quality Cyberpunk 2077 posters” and a “30% off” limited time discount code for the CD Projekt Red merch store.
