Epic Games’ Summer Sale starts with free games and steep discounts

Epic Games has started its 2020 Summer Sale, offering PC gamers steep discounts, free games and voucher which stack with already low game prices. Right now, both Next Up Hero and Tacoma are available for free on the storefront, and Epic Games are offering users £10 voucher on every game worth over £14.99 on the platform. These £10 coupons were given out during Epic’s MEGA Sale and can be applied to a single purchase. 

With these stacked offers, Epic Games are offering games like Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey for £6.49 and titles like Metro Exodus for £5.74. Price reductions of over 50% and Epic’s £10 coupons make for a powerful combination, and that combination gives PC gamers incredibly low prices. 

Those who are looking for gaming bargains will find Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon for £2.54 and £1.87 respectively, and Metro: 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux for £3.74 each. Indie classics like Limbo and FTL are also available for bargain prices, with both games costing less than £2. 

Next week, Epic Games plans to give away three more PC games, including 20XX, Barony and Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP, This free game offer will start on July 30th at 4 PM BST.
