Corsair has announced plans to release a “unified” software utility to control their RGB keyboards, Mice, Headsets, Fans and case lighting, bringing all of their RGB devices under a single banner. This software will release on March 27th and will come with support for game-specific profiles, which can react to specific events to increase immersion.

Ubisoft will be partnering with Corsair to deliver the software’s first game lighting integration, allowing your PC to react to situations during combat, driving or even during minigames like fishing. The game will come with more than 35 potential lighting interactions at launch.

Below is a comment from Corsair’s CEO Andy Paul, who considers their partnership with Ubisoft a “key milestone” for the company.

We’re delighted to partner with Ubisoft to offer CORSAIR customers this new level of immersion, with one of the year’s most anticipated new games, Working with a AAA publisher such as Ubisoft is a key milestone for CORSAIR, as we work to offer more benefits for our dedicated customers.

Over time Corsair plans to update their unified RGB utility to support a larger number of products, potentially uniting all Corsair software under a single banner in time.

Between March 23rd and April, 30th Corsair plans to ship copies of Far Cry 5 with select RGB purchases from the Corsair web store when users spend over $150. At this time it is unknown if this offer will apply to regions outside of the US.
