Forza Horizon 5 is coming to Xbox and PC this November

Microsoft and PlayGround games have confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 9th, arriving on day-1 on Xbox Game Pass for PC/consoles, or as a standalone title on Xbox, the Windows Store and Steam.

Forza Horizon 5 will be bringing the series to Mexico, offering players access to hundreds of vehicles and areas that include “living deserts, lush jungles, historic cities, hidden ruins, pristine beaches, vast canyons, and a towering snow-capped volcano.” Forza Horizon 5 will feature more map variety than any prior Forza Horizon game.

On PC and Xbox Series X/S, Forza Horizon 5 will support the latest visual features, with Microsoft confirming that the game will support ray tracing within the game’s Forzavista mode. At this time, it is unknown how ray tracing will be utilised within the game or if the game’s PC version will support more advanced ray tracing than the game’s console versions.

Based on Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 trailers, the game will look incredible on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The ForzaTech engine is already known to be one of the most graphically impressive game engines on PC and consoles, and with Forza Horizon 5, Forza’s visuals have been taken to the next level.

Forza Horizon 4 had a well-optimised PC version, and we expect Forza Horizon 5’s PC version to receive the same treatment from PlayGround Games. We are looking forward to seeing all of the latest graphical features that Forza Horizon 5 offers and how well it will run on the latest PC hardware.
