Kena: Bridge of Spirits receives a new trailer and a late summer release date

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to PlayStation and PC on August 24th 2021, arriving on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. When the game was announced last year, the title wowed gamers with its animated movie-like presentation and Zelda-like gameplay, giving the game an instant following. 

In the latest trailer for the game, which launched yesterday, gamers got a glimpse at the game’s story and combat systems, showcasing the game’s stunning visuals once more while opening up pre-orders for the title. 

ON PC, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be an Epic Games Store exclusive, launching on PC with a £31.99 pre-order price for the game’s standard edition and a £39.99 price tag for the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition.

On the Epic Games Store, Kena already has a set of detailed PC system requirements, which list the game with DirectX 11 supports and some relatively modest minimum system requirements.

While relatively high-end PC components such as an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 processor are recommended, alongside graphics cards like Nvidia’s GTX 1070 and AMD’s RX Vega 56, it looks like PC gamers will be able to play Kena: Bridge of Spirits with some incredibly low-end hardware. PCs with an i3-3220 processor, 8GB of system memory, and as little an a Radeon HD 7750 or a Geforce GTX 650 will be able to run this game. That said, it is unknown what resolution or framerate those specs will target or what graphical cutbacks the game will require to run on that hardware.

Our guess is that the PC version of Kena: Bridge of Spirits will target 1080p at 60 FPS when using the game’s recommended system specs. That would mean that those who target higher resolutions or framerates will need faster PC hardware.
