Outriders final PC system requirements have been revealed, revealing higher GPU recommendations

Outriders had over 111K day-1 players on Steam

Yesterday, Outriders launched on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and the game is already a huge success for Square Enix. On Steam alone, the PC version of Outriders had over 111,000 concurrent players at yesterday’s peak, and that player count did not include the game’s players on the Epic Games Store.

Outriders is a cooperative action role-playing game from People Can Fly and Square Enix, allowing players to team up in groups of up to three players and assume one of four classes to take on various foes.

In many ways, Outriders can be compared to Bungie’s Destiny series. Players are expected to complete missions and upgrade their characters over time with new weapons, armour sets and abilities to challenge ever-tougher foes. Players will combat both human and monstrous enemies.

This popular PC launch follows the success of Outriders’ PC demo, which is still available to download on Steam. This demo will allow PC gamers to try out Outriders on their systems before committing to purchasing the title.

Right now, reviews are mixed for Outriders PC version, as some PC gamers are experiencing a variety of bugs that include stuttering and game crashes. People Can Fly are currently recommending that PC gamers update their graphics card drivers for Outriders on PC. These early PC issues are due to be resolved sometime in the near future with new game patches and GPU driver releases.
