Sniper Elite 4 PC system requirements

Rebellion entertainment has released the PC system requirements for Sniper Elite 4, which is planned to release on February 14th on Steam. The game will release on PC, Xbox One and PS4, coming with both a dedicated single player and a dedicated Co-op campaign, with the title being built from the ground up for modern hardware.

Sniper Elite 3 was one of my favourite games of 2014, both being a fun game to play and a title that really pushed the performance envelope on PC with its use of the Mantle API and spectacular visuals for its low hardware requirements.

The game takes place after the end of Sniper Elite 3, moving from the African front to the Italian Peninsula where Karl Fairburne must fight alongside members of the Italian resistance as they rise up to fight their Fascist rulers.

Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 continues the series’ World War Two heritage by transporting players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to colossal Nazi mega structures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino.

Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance to help free their country from the yoke of Fascism, and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.

If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe.

This will be the first game in the series that will be made for current generation hardware exclusively, meaning that the game will only be shipping on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, so this game will not be held back by the constraints of previous generation hardware.

Sniper Elite 3 was a performance masterpiece on PC, offering almost perfect SLI/CrossFire scaling, great excellent Single GPU performance and is one of the few games that can be maxed out at 4K with very few issues.

The game will require a minimum of a GTX 660 or an HD 7870 GPU with 2GB of VRAM and at least 4GB of system memory. The game will require at least 4 CPU threads and will require a CPU that is at least as powerful as a Sandy bridge Intel i3 2100.

MINIMUM:
    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 64-bit Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel CPU Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2GB)

RECOMMENDED:
    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 64-bit Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel CPU Core i7-3770 or AMD equivalent
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 970 / AMD GPU Radeon RX 480
