Rebellion entertainment has confirmed that the PC version of Sniper Elite 4 will support DirectX 12 at launch, offering gamers enhanced framerates/performance levels.

Sniper Elite 3, this game’s predecessor was one of the first titles to use AMD’s Mantle API, an API that is regarded by many is the inspiration behind both Vulkan and DirectX 12. Sniper Elite 3’s Mantle version offered some significant performance gains over its DX11 counterpart, which makes Sniper Elite 4’s DirectX 12 version a very interesting prospect.
