Steam surpasses 15 million concurrent users

Valve’s Steam platform has grown a lot over the past few years and now Valve has now claimed a new record for maximum concurrent users, now surpassing 15 million concurrent users at peak times.

Back in January, Valve was able to surpass 14 million concurrent users, showing significant growth for the platform in the past year. Now Valve’s peak player count is 15,320,737 players. 2012 was the first year that Valve achieved a record of 5 million concurrent users, showcasing a 3x increase in their peak player count over the past five years.

This growth in Steam’s popularity is a clear indication that PC gaming is still on the rise, further putting down any notion that “PC Gaming is dying”.
