Sunset Overdrive has been rated for PC

Sunset Overdrive has been rumoured to be getting a PC release since early on in its development, with some advertisements explicitly stating that the game was coming to the platform. Later, Microsoft confirmed that this PC listing was an error, though now it seems like the game is coming to the platform.

Insomniac Games’ Sunset overdrive has been listed over at the Korean game rating board, stating that the game is coming to PC, leaving us to expect that Microsoft has some PC-centric announcements planned for E3 2018. These Korean ratings are often reliable sources of information, making it extremely likely that Sunset Overdrive will be coming to PC.

Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference will last around two hours, giving the console manufacturer/publisher plenty of time to announce some PC-centered content, though if I am honest, I would have rather seen something like the Halo: The Master Cheif Collection grace our systems.

Microsoft has already release Quantum Break, Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, and Forza Motorsport 7 on PC, leaving Xbox One with few true exclusives. Thanks to the Xbox Play Anywhere system, no future first-party Microsoft game will release on Xbox One alone, leaving little reason to keep Sunset Overdrive on Xbox exclusively, especially if Microsoft sees profit in a PC version.
