The Razer Game Store is Shutting Down

Razer has announced that their gaming storefront, which offers exclusive discounts on PC games and Razer hardware, will be closing down later this month, little more than ten months after the storefront opened.

Thankfully, the game supplied game codes and did not act as a dedicated game launcher, which means that those who purchased games on the platform will have nothing to worry about, assuming that they have redeemed their Steam and Uplay codes for their purchased titles.

The store’s closure comes into effect on February 28th at 1 AM Pacific Time (PT), coming as part of the company’s 2019 realignment plans. The company still plans to offer rewards through the company’s Razer Gold and Razer Silver currencies, though at this time the company has not made its future content and promotion plans clear.

Below is Razer’s official statement regarding the Razer Game Store’s closure.
