Ubisoft Reveals Far Cry New Dawn at The Game Awards

Ubisoft has officially revealed Far Cry: New Dawn, a standalone sequel to Far Cry 5, taking place seventeen years after the game’s climactic finale. A global nuclear catastrophe has decimated the world, leaving Hope County, Montana in a state that is even more chaotic than before.

The game will release on PlayStation and Xbox One on February 15th, 2019. Ubisoft North America’s trailer doesn’t mention a PC version of the game, though we assume it is coming. The game will cost $39.99 in the US.

Expect to see many of the same locations as Far Cry 5, albeit in an unfamiliar state, with somewhat mutated animals roaming the landscape alongside survivors that wield a variety of weapons, be it firearms or buzzsaw firing crossbows.

Update – Ubisoft UK has uploaded the same trailer and has confirmed that the game is coming to PC on February 15th.
