Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is currently available for free on PC

The last game on the Epic Games Store’s “12 Days of Free Games” promotional period, PC gamers are being given a chance to redeem a copy of Playtonic Games’ Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, which released earlier this year on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. 

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a spin-off of Playtonic’s Yooka-Laylee, taking the series mascots into a 2D side-scroller that’s similar in feel to the original Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES, complete with modern graphics and a multitude of levels. 

This game release on October 8th, 2019, making this game extremely fresh. At the time of writing, this game costs £18.74 on Steam, making this a fantastic offer from the Epic Games Store, especially given the game’s positive reviews. 

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be available for free until 4 PM GMT on January 1st, after which, two free games will be available until January 9th, returning the Epic Games Store to its usual weekly free game schedule.
