ADATA release their Ultimate SU700 series SSDs

ADATA release their Ultimate SU700 series SSDs, which all use 3D NAND to offer enhanced performance when compared to SSDs powered by standard Planar NAND.

This new SSD will come in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB variants, all of which are powered by a new Maxiotek controller to offer read/write speeds of 560MB/s and 540MB/s respectively. This SSD will also some of its NAND in SLC mode to offer enhanced performance using SLC NAND as a cache, which is especially helpful during heavy writes.

ADATA states that their new 3D NAND is at least 10% faster than equivalent 2D Planar NAND, giving this new SSD a better balance of performance, power and longevity.
