ASUS has announced their GR8 II gaming PC, a compact 4-litre PC that is VR ready with a new Intel Kaby Lake CPU and a GTX 1060 GPU.

ASUS claim that this is the world’s smallest VR ready PC, coming with dual HDMI ports for easy VR connectivity and a rear DisplayPort for traditional PC displays. This chassis also contains ASUS Aura sync lighting so that it can match your other ASUS accessories using ASUS’ Aura software.

This PC will be available at the start of February for an MSRP of £949.99 including VAT, coming with options to come with an i7 7700 CPU or an i5 7400 CPU and a GTX 1060 GPU. ASUS claim that this PC will deliver a 47% boost in gaming performance compared to systems using a GTX 960 and a 10% boost over PCs using a GTX 970.

This PC can also be configured with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory using two SO-DIMM slots. This PC will be available with Windows 10 or with no OS.
