Corsair’s One series of systems have been with us for a while now, offering a Mac Pro like configuration with a combination of Intel’s latest CPU hardware and Nvidia’s latest graphics hardware.

We reviewed the Corsair One back in 2017 (Review Link), and back then the system contained Intel’s i7-7700K processor as well as Nvidia’s GTX 1080 in its highest-end configuration. A lot has changed since then, with both Nvidia and Intel releasing several new product generations since then.

Corsair’s first major update allowed more recent One systems to offer GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards and Intel’s initial Coffee Lake processors, but now Corsair is bringing things bang up to date, while also moving an additional step into prosumer territory.

At CES, Corsair is showcasing their latest One series systems, with the new One Pro i180 taking the lead with an X299 motherboard an Intel i9-9920X processor, offering users 12 cores and RTX 2080 Ti graphics. On the lower-end, Corsair has created their One i160 and One i140, which each contain an i9-9900K/RTX 2080 Ti and an i7-9700K/RTX 2080 respectively.

With the One series, Corsair delivers systems that sit within the same niche as Apple’s Mac Pro, but unlike Apple’s ageing Mac Pro Corsair offers their customers modern hardware, providing buyer Intel’s latest Skylake-X processors or Coffee Lake Refresh processors in their systems alongside Nvidia RTX graphics. Both this system’s CPU and GPU are cooled using all-in-one liquid coolers and feature RGB lighting, with Corsair offering 24/7 support to all purchasers of the system.

CORSAIR ONE i160 redefines what you can expect from a high-performance gaming PC. Equipped with a powerful Intel Core i9-9900K eight-core processor, NVIDIA GeFORCE RTX 2080 Ti graphics car and award-winning CORSAIR DDR4 memory, CORSAIR ONE brings all the performance of a top-end PC to an unbelievably compact, quiet, and stunningly minimalist desktop.

All of Corsair’s new One series systems can be considered high-end, with each system containing 32GB of RAM, two custom AIO liquid coolers, NVMe SSDs and enthusiast-grade Intel processors, explaining why the company’s pricing is so high. Packing expensive hardware into a smaller than average box has always resulted in high pricing, especially when any custom components are involved.

All three versions of the Corsair One offer the same volume and can run in a zero RPM fan mode, allowing the system to be extremely quiet at idle. Without dedicated testing, we cannot come to any conclusions regarding this unit’s noise levels while under heavy loads.

At this time it is unknown whether or not Corsair has any lower-end One series systems in the works, such as a model with an RTX 2070 and an i5-9600K or a similar configuration with an RTX 2060. Do you think Corsair will release  One i120 system?
