Disney + is arriving in the UK earlier than expected - Pricing revealed
Disney + was initially due to release in the UK on March 31st, over four months after the streaming service's US launch. Now, Disney has confirmed that the service will arrive earlier than expected in the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland, establishing a new launch date of March 24th.
In the UK, Disney Plus will cost users £5.99 per month, or £59.99 annually, making it more expensive than Disney's existing DisneyLife streaming platform. Disney + will feature more content than Disney Life and feature 4K streaming capabilities, making the service more valuable, at least in Disney's eyes. DisneyLife will be retired with the release of Disney +. In the US/Europe, Disney+ costs $6.99/€6.99 per month and $69.99/€69.99 annually.
Disney has likely moved its UK release of Disney + forward in an attempt to thwart piracy for its flagship programming, such as The Mandalorian. However, UK viewers will still need to wait over two months for the service to release in their home nation.
Disney plans to expand Disney + across more European nations later in 2020, with plans to bring the service to Belgium, Portugal and Nordic countries this summer.

7€ per month is quite cheap, too! But I'll guess I won't be getting the year sub, because if I wanna see a Disney movie, I can get one month and get away much cheaper than a night at the cinema.Quote
Me too, but I'd mainly get it for the Marvel movies.

Currently I have
Spotify
XGP
Netflix
HBO
That is setting me back £45 a month. For streaming services alone. Could be considered more given I paid an annual fee for Origin.
Now adding 7 euro although small, is pushing me over £50. Its too much.Quote
