Google’s Stadia reveal left a lot of questions unanswered. How much will the service cost? What games will be available and how much will accessories will the Stadia controller cost. Soon we will find this out and more, at Google’s first Stadia Connect event.
With Stadia Connect, Google is stepping ahead of Microsoft’s Project XCloud reveal, which is due to be one of the company’s highlights for E3 2019. With this reveal, Google will set the tone for future in-home game streaming announcements, but depending on how well their announcement goes, it may present Stadia as a potential runaway success, or dead on arrival.
Google’s Stadia service will launch later this year in selected nations, but more will be revealed when Google’s Stream begins at 5 PM BST.
