It looks like Alphacool are creating a AMD R9 Fury X GPX Waterblock, and have shown us a 3D Model of their design.

For those who are not familiar with Aquatuning and their NexXxos series GPU waterblock designs, they are essentially a combination of the ideas All-In-One water block and a full cover waterblock. In their designs the GPU's memory (Traditional DDR5 memory, not on the GPU die like HBM) and the GPUs power circuitry is cooled by a custom made passive heatsink and the GPUs core and sections of the passive heatsink is cooled by Alphacool's NexXxos water block.

Alphacool's solution makes water cooling your hardware cheaper by making a certain components for their GPU waterblocks reusable on future GPUs, meanings that their users do not need to buy a whole new £80-£100 water block every time they upgrade their GPU.

As we can see from Alphacool's 3D model, their Fury X waterblock is custom designed for AMD's newest GPU, cooling all required components on AMD's PCB with their passive heatsink and cooling the GPU core with their NexXxos water block.

Right now we do not know how far from release Alphacool's R9 Fury X water block is, but we expect it to becoming available for sale within the next few weeks or months.

Looks great. This is my kind of design, that chunky milled look. It's minimal, no flim flam embellishments or tackyness.
I want one, if only the gpu had been a little bit better "Sad face".Quote

I freakin love this system! Was blown away by it when TTL reviewed it, the idea that it would be a simple heat plate swap when you upgrade is just awesome.Quote

***. This Alphacool range looks like absolute CRAP imo. I understand the functional aspects of it, and respect those, but this is a really ugly system in my eyes. EK and Bitspower gear looks infinitely better, but taste is of course subjective.

EDIT: this forum auto-censors + 1 now?!?! WTF??!Quote
