ASUS will enter the fan market this April with their ROG Strix XF 120
On Twitter, ASUS has confirmed that they will be entering the case fan market this April with their new ROG Strix XF 120 series fans.
With their new XF 120 fans, ASUS intends to offer PC builders versatility, offering 4-pin PWM control, and a design that's designed to be suitable for CPU heatsinks, liquid coolers and for chassis cooling. These fans are designed to operate at speeds of between 250 and 1,800 RPM, with support for a 0% PWM cycle off mode which users can utilise.
ASUS' ROG Strix XF 120 fans are 120mm in size and utilise Magnetic Levitation technology to reduce friction during rotations to deliver quieter acoustic performance. These fans are rated to deliver 62.5 cubic feet of airflow per minute (CFM) and 3.07 mm H2O static pressure. ASUS has also rated these fans as 22.5 dBA noise levels, which is quiet when compared to many competing fan designs.
At this time, we do not pricing or a release date for ASUS' ROG Strix XF 120 fans, though we do know that ASUS plans to release them in this April, assuming that there are no further delays. At the time of writing, ASUS has revealed no plans to launch 140mm versions of their Strix XF fans.

For my new build I'm getting all Noctuas, I like Asus mobos and GPU's but when a company starts to make too many products inevitably it cannot be great in all areas.Quote
