Be Quiet Pure Rock Cooler CPU cooler
be quiet!, market leader for PC power supplies in Germany for eight successive years*, introduces the Pure Rock — a new, compact CPU cooler combining an excellent price-performance ratio with proven be quiet! quality. The Pure Rock has four six-millimeter heat pipes to efficiently dissipate heat to the cooling fins. Due to this construction, the tower cooler can effectively draw up to 130 watts away from the CPU. Even intense graphics, multimedia or gaming applications will not bring the Pure Rock to it limits.
High durability and proven be quiet! quality
Equipped with a 120mm Pure Wings 2 fan, the Pure Rock never produces more than 26,8 decibels, even when the fan is spinning at its maximum rotational speed of 1500 rpm. Nine silence-optimized fan blades with high airflow capabilities reduce noise-generating turbulences while increasing air pressure. The lifetime is more than 80,000 hours. be quiet! provides a three-year warranty on the Pure Rock.
Convenient installation
With its compact design, the Pure Rock is compatible with all current AMD™ and Intel® sockets. Installation is made easy by the convenient mounting system that allows installation of the cooler from above. Due to its small dimensions (155 x 121 x 87.5 millimeters) the newest member of the be quiet! family will fit into almost any PC configuration.
Despite the low price, be quiet! has worked hard to implement a high quality finish – with a top cover made of brushed aluminium and heat pipes that are fitted with aluminium caps. The Pure Rock is available immediately at a price of €32.90 (RRP).
My thoughts
At this price be quiet are making a very good offering to the budget segment of the market, with premium looks and the promise of quiet operation it should offer great competition to budget CPU coolers like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo and others. I personally look forward to seeing this cooler becoming available in the UK, a my HTPC could really use a non-stock cooler.

If they can keep up with other entry level cpu aftermarket coolers like the 212 Evo I think this looks like a lovely productQuote
