Cooler Master enhances their Mobius series with new 120 OC series models
Last year we had a look at Cooler Master's Modius 120mm fans, and we loved them, and following on from their success, Cooler Master has enhanced their Mobius design with new Mobius 120 OC series fan models, upgrading the fan's bearings, motor hub, and anti-vibration dampeners to deliver improve acoustic performance and support for higher fan RPMs.
With a Low, Medium, and High speed switch on its cable, users of Cooler Master's Mobius 120 OC fans can set their fans to a maximum RPM of 1500 RPM (Low), 2400 RPM (Medium), or 3200 RPM (High). This will allow users to adjust the speeds of their Mobius fans depending on if they are looking for silence or maximum cooling performance at any given time.
Like other Mobius series fans, Cooler Master's Mobius OC fans feature a ring-blade design that reinforces their fans to create a more rigid structure and reduce fan vibration to lower fan noise levels. A side effect of this fan design is that it is also harder for users to break fan blades, as fan blades are supported on both the outside and inside of the fan.
With pricing that is only a few pounds more than their standard mobius fans, Cooler Master's new Mobius OC fans are a solid upgrade over their original counter parts, and a lot more versatile thanks to their fan speed switch. Below is what Cooler Master has to say about their latest fans.
Press Release - Cooler Master Launches the Mobius 120 OC
London, United Kingdom – Cooler Master, the high-performance PC component and peripherals brand, today launched its top-of-the-line case fan, the Mobius 120 OC. Packed with innovative features, the Mobius 120 OC not only delivers near silent operation, but also offers complete control over its operation.
The Mobius 120 OC carries on the award-winning features that made this case fan series stand out: A ring blade design using interconnecting fan blades for improved structural rigidity and directed airflow. To further reduce vibration, the fan comes with a patented corner-mount design with rubber feet to keep it stable and quiet, while reaching an RPM speed of 3200 ±10%. And, to increase the fan’s lifespan and lower noise levels, Cooler Master uses a double ball bearing design. This combination demonstrates the company’s commitment to refining every detail for a superior final product.
The list of features doesn’t stop there. Cooler Master engineers also included a speed toggle switch that allows the user to adjust the fan speed to match any computing need she or he tackles without relying on software of BIOS control. Finally, the center motor hub is made of metal to enhance stability and increase the fan’s lifespan. To top it all, it is backed with a lifetime warranty which is a testimony to Cooler Master’s faith in this flagship case fan.
Availability and Pricing:
The Mobius 120 OC will be available in all major UK PC components retailers at the beginning of Q2.

If you are going to market the fans or make them stand out.. dont use trash items like those memory sticks to pull your attention away from them...
The polished chrome like ones are OK though, I do like those. But yeah gold can be proper nasty.
Edit. They could have used a much better mobo too.Quote
