EK releases their first acetal monoblock - Supports ASUS' ROG Crosshair VI/VII Hero boards

EK's motherboard specific monoblocks have proven to be extremely popular for the company, offering their customers an all-in-one water block design that is designed to cool both the user's processor and the power circuitry of the motherboard that powers it.

Since their inception, EK's monoblock designs have featured clear plexiglass tops, giving users a clear view of the nickel-plated cooling surface and the coolant held within the metal-plexi unit, something that has not been to the liking of all users, especially for those who would prefer to build a more "stealthy" system.

In response to fan feedback, EK has released an Acetal version of the company's ASUS Crosshair VI/VII Monoblock with a black Acetal cover, which sports the same cooling capacity as the original plexi version while including an RGB illuminated "CROSSHAIR" logo. The RGB lighting on this block uses a 4-pin RGB LED connection that is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, delivering users a full lighting customisation experience out of the box.

We've heard your feedback, and we're aware not everyone wants plexi monoblocks, so we've developed an acetal version for ASUS Crosshair Hero VI and VII with more discreet RGB for you!

Continue giving us feedback about our products, and we'll show you we know how to listen.

I do like acetal a lot. A shame EK doesn't do acetal versions for the regular 115x boards anymore.Quote
