Fractal releases 3D printable files for their North Pi Raspberry Pi case

You can now 3D Print Fractal’s awesome North Pi Raspberry Pi case

At Computex 2024, Fractal Design showcased a prototype Raspberry Pi case called the North Pi. This case is effectively a miniaturised version of their Fractal North PC case (review here), and attendees fell in love with it.

Fractal didn’t have plans to release their Raspberry Pi case as a purchasable product. Regardless, the company didn’t want to let their design efforts go to waste. Neither did Fractal want to disappoint those who wanted to buy mini North case. Now, anyone who owns a 3D printer will be able to create their own North Pi case, as Fractal has released downloadable files for the case on the company’s website. These files can be downloaded here.

Ideally, Fractal recommends printing this Raspberry Pi case using PLA. With some wood and Acrylic, Fractal North fans can build the mini PC case of their dreams. That said, all parts of this case can be 3D printed. So you don’t necessarily need acrylic or wood.

Honestly, I think this is a great move from Fractal. There is clearly demand for the company’s Raspberry Pi case, but not necessarily enough demand for a full production run. With this release, fans of this Raspberry Pi case can 3D print and build one for themselves. This effort may also help Fractal by generating more interest in their full-sized North series PC cases.
