MSI launches their MAG CoreLiquid I Series AIO Liquid CPU Coolers
MSI delivers huge upgrades with their new MAG CoreLiquid I series of CPU liquid coolers
MSI has just launched a new generation of CPU liquid coolers, delivering a range of design changes that promise to make their cooling solutions more efficient and easier to use. MSI’s new MAG CoreLiquid I series will be available at retailers this month, and it will be available in with 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes and both black and white forms.
There’s a lot to talk about when it comes to these new liquid coolers. For starters, MSI has opted for a slick two-sided Infinity mirror aesthetic with their ARGB Gen2 lighting. That said, these new CPU liquid cooler designs aren’t just about their aesthetics, its thermal performance has also been dramatically improved.
MSI has created their new MAG CoreLiquid I series with noise and thermal efficiency in mind. These coolers feature a new pump design, and feature a larger cold plate (64mm diameter vs 50mm). Furthermore, these AIOs feature larger micro-channels, adding more surface area for heat dissipation. MSI claims that these new coolers can “effortlessly manage over 300 watts of heat”,. That’s great news for CPU overclockers.
Beyond heat management, MSI has redesigned their All-in-One CPU liquid coolers to make them easier to use. MSI have used their new “UNI Bracket” to support both AMD and Intel CPUs out of the box. They have also utilised pre-installed EZ-connect fans. This means that users of this AIO do not need to install their fans themselves (saving time), and only need to connect two cables (PWM + RGB) to their system to power three fans. With traditional fans, six cables would need to be connected.
With these new CPU cooler, MSI are promising superior cooling performance and greater ease of use. This is great news for all PC builders, especially those who want a cooler-running, tidy system.
