MSI unveils its next generation of CoreLiquid CPU Liquid Cooler at CES 2025
MSI reveal their MPG CoreLiquid P13 and MAG CoreLiquid A15 CPU liquid coolers
At CES 2025, MSI has unveiled its latest CoreLiquid CPU liquid cooling solutions. With these new coolers, MSI is promising enhanced levels of cooling performance and greater cooling efficiency at low noise levels.
On the show floor, MSI had two new 360mm all-in-one liquid coolers on display, both of which feature LGA1851 offset mounts.
Technological Advancement
Below is a display showcasing the advancements included with MSI’s new MAG series liquid cooling solution. First, we have MSI’s EZ UNI bracket, which supports both AMD and Intel CPU sockets. Additionally, MSI has created an “adjustable offset kit” that allows Intel CPU users to achieve lower CPU thermals using alternative cooler mounting positions.
MSI has also improved the durability of its CPU cooling solutions with new metal backplates. This prevents bending under high thermal loads and balances their pressure distribution on motherboards.
MSI’s new MAG series CPU coolers also feature a new “full plane and screwless copper base,” which reportedly enabled increased “water tightness” and reliability.
MSI MAG CoreLiquid A15 360
MSI’s MAG A15 includes all of the improvements shown above. With this new liquid cooling solution, all fans come pre-installed, and both the unit’s fans and pump/block feature RGB illuminated elements.
MSI MPG CoreLiquid P13 360
Next up, we have the MPG P13 360, which features a 2.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480×480. This can be personalised with moving graphics, images, and display system information like CPU thermals, or display a real-time clock.
This AIO features three pre-installed CycloBlade9 ARGB fans. These fans are purpose-built to focus airflow and push larger volumes of air through the radiator while bringing down noise levels. These fans also utilise MSI’s EZ-conn design, which all three fans to be powered/controlled using a single cable (1 cable for fan control and one for ARGB).
Sadly, neither of these CPU coolers appears to feature offset mounts for AMD Ryzen CPUs. This is a shame, as we would like to see offset mount support for both AMD and Intel processors.
