Noctua will provide free AM4 Upgrade kits to their existing CPU coolers

When Noctua design a CPU cooler they make something that will last the test of time, so much so that with every generation of new CPUs they give their users free mounting kit upgrades for every new CPU socket on release.

Now Noctua has announced that they will be supporting AMD's AM4 socket, stating that they will be shipping free mounting kit upgrades that will support all of their existing CPU coolers, with the exception of their D0 series and their NH-L9i series. This means that CPUs that are 10-years old will be able to be used with AMD's newest socket design, allowing you to upgrade without having to spend more money on a new CPU cooler.

Users of existing Noctua coolers will need to provide proof or purchase if they request a CPU mounting kit upgrade to support AM4, but Noctua will ship this new mounting kit completely free of charge.
