Patriot teases their Viper CPU Cooler Prototype at CES 2023

Patriot's entering the CPU cooler market, and their Viper prototype looks promising

Patriot had a lot of products to show us at CES 2023, including an ultra-fast 12GB/s PCIe 5.0 SSD, and DDR5 memory modules that could run at speeds of up to 8,000 MT/s. 2023 is set to be a big year for Patriot, as the company plans to enter new markets and plans to release higher-end products for existing markets.

One of the more interesting additions to Patriot's product lineup at CES 2023 is their new Viper CPU heatsink. While the product was listed as a "prototype", the heatsink had an incredibly stylish look and appeared to have a lot of cooling potential thanks to its two ARGB cooling fans. Sadly, Patriot were unable to discuss their planned pricing for this new product, though they did confirm that they planned to launch their new Viper heatsink sometime this year.

With its Viper series branding, Patriot's new CPU heatsink is a strong visual match for their latest Viper series DDR5 memory modules, which is great news for anyone who wants to build a PC with matching Viper series components. Let's hope that this heatsink delivers cooling performance that is on par with its visual appeal, because if it does you can be sure that this heatsink will be a strong seller.

That's nice. I love Patriot stuff. They seem to come and go though. I wonder what happened to Mushkin? they were another company that was similar.Quote
