Specialtech UK Has Closed Down

Specialtech has been a company that has been close to us and many of our users hears for many years, and today we have been informed that the company and site has been closed down.

Here is what greets us now when we enter the website.

"The store is closed

It is with a heavy heart and much regret that I have to inform you that Specialtech is now closed.
The company has been placed into voluntary liquidation. All outstanding orders have been sent or refunded.

Thank you to everyone for your support over the years, it has been a pleasure to serve the community. See you on the other side!
Stephen Probert"

 Specialtech UK is now closed

The site and the site's forums are now offline and we will sadly never see or hear of them again. Personally I relied heavily on Specialtech when I build my first water cooled PC, as did many of OC3D's readers and Forum members.

Today is a Sad day for PC building in the UK, we wish all those who were part of/ employed by Specialtech a good future and that those who are now unemployed find work quickly.

It is always sad to see a PC retailer close it's door, but it is especially sad to see a site which we would consider one of the UK's best water cooling websites close.

You can join the discussion on the closure of Specialtech on the OC3D Forums.

This is a real shock, nobody I know saw this coming. It is really sad to see them go.

This deserves a proper write up, but I will link it to this thread.Quote

Sad times
I've ordered a fair bit of stuff from them myself and never had issues either. I won my H100 on their forums a couple of years back as well.Quote
