Thermal Grizzly releases Thermal Putty to make thermal pad replacement easier
Thermal Grizzly now has a thermal putty range for PC enthusiasts
Thermal Grizzly has just released a premium alternative to thermal pads, thermal putty, offering users more ease of use and less room for error.
Pad thickness matters with thermal pads, making it necessary to use matching pads when upgrading or replacing the pads on GPU coolers and motherboards. Thermal Putty is more malleable and can fill gaps between 0.2mm and 3.0 mm. This makes thermal putty a more versatile solution than thermal pads.
Thermal Grizzly’s thermal putty is non-conductive and is available in three forms. First, there is their “Basic” putty, and then there is their “Advance” and “Pro” putties. The higher-end putties are more thermally conductive and deliver higher levels of cooling performance. However, these advanced formulations are more costly to produce and are, therefore, more expensive.
TG Thermal Putty is available in three variants, primarily differing in thermal conductivity:
- Putty Basic with medium thermal conductivity
- Putty Advance with good thermal conductivity
- Putty Pro with excellent thermal conductivity
Using a thermal putty is much easier than acquiring the various thicknesses of thermal pads you may need pad replacements or upgrades. These new putties are designed specifically for high-end PC cooling and come from a trusted brand within the PC overclocking space. This is good news for PC enthusiasts, were not widely used by PC enthusiasts until relatively recently.
Thermal Grizzly’s new thermal putties are now available from the company’s webstore and partnered retailers.
