AMD confirms March 12th launch for its Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 9950X3D CPUs
AMD’s high-end Ryzen 9000 X3D CPUs are launching next week
AMD’s Jack Huynh has confirmed that the company’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D CPUs are launching on March 12th, with US pricing of $699 and $599 respectively on March 12th.
These new X3D CPUs are designed to offer users the benefits of AMD’s premiere gaming CPU, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, while also offering content creators access to higher CPU core counts. With 12 and 16 cores respectively, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D are content creation monsters.
While AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D may be AMD’s king of gaming, its eight Zen 5 CPU cores aren’t ideal for heavy content creation or workstation workloads. This is where AMD’s Ryzen 9 X3D CPUs come into their own.

With price tags of $599 and $699, AMD has not increased their price of their new Ryzen 9 X3D CPUs over their last-gen counterparts. That’s great news for CPU buyers. After all, they benefit from AMD’s new Zen 5 CPUs cores without higher CPU prices.
With these CPUs releasing on March 12th, PC gamers can expect to see reviews for these processors soon.
