AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X UK Pricing Revealed

AMD’s Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X launch today – Here’s how much they will cost in the UK

Today is August 8th, and that means that AMD’s Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X will become available to purchase later today. Now, we can confirm that these new Ryzen CPUs now have official UK pricing, costing of £269.99 and £339.99  respectively. AMD’s higher-end Ryzen 9 9900X and Ryzen 9 9950X will not be available until later this month. Currently, we haven’t received confirmed UK pricing for these CPUs. However, we can confirm that they have US SEP (Suggested Etailer Pricing) of $499 and $649 respectively. These prices are lower than the launch pricing of AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. That said, AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series CPUs all received price cuts early in their respective life cycles.

Fans of AMD’s higher-end CPUs can expect Ryzen 9 models to be released on August 15th. Today’s CPU release is only for AMD’s 6-core and 8-core models. These CPUs are expected to be used with AMD 600-series AM5 motherboards, as newer 800 series AMD motherboards aren’t due to release until later this year.
