AMD Zen 6 12-core leak details HUGE Single/Multi-threaded gains
AMD’s Zen 6 12-core will deliver near Zen 5 16-core performance – 1usmus claims
Hardware analyst and overclocking guru 1usmus claims AMD’s upcoming single-CCD Zen 6 12-core CPUs will deliver performance competitive with dual-CCD Zen 5 16-core processors.
In Cinebench, it is claimed that AMD’s new 12-core could deliver performance levels “surprisingly close” to a Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, AMD’s current flagship. To achieve this, AMD’s new Zen 6 12-core would need to deliver much more per-core performance than its Zen 5 predecessors. For a 12-core to match a 16-core’s multi-threaded results, AMD would need a 33% increase in per-core performance. That’s a huge generational gain for AMD.

A Zen 6 12-core “gets surprisingly close” to a Zen 5 16-core
What’s worth noting is that this data doesn’t come from a leaked result. That said, 1usmus claims that we won’t have to wait long for real Zen 6 Ryzen CPU leaks. If 1usmus’ claims are accurate, AMD has achieved some huge generational performance boosts with Zen 6. That said, it remains to be seen how AMD’s Zen 6 CPU cores will benefit a wide range of workloads. After all, AMD’s new Zen 6 architecture could deliver strong gains in Cinebench and weaker results in other workloads.
Busted – Cinebench’s colors snitched on me😄You’re right. But a 12-core Zen 6 gets surprisingly close to those scores. You won’t have to wait much longer for the leaks😉
I’ve really missed these days of teasers, leaks, and wild speculation. Haven’t you?

If AMD’s Zen 6 12-core CPUs can match 16-core Zen 5 performance, AMD’s next-generation architecture will be huge for PC enthusiasts. Remember, AMD’s Zen 6 CCDs feature 12 cores, so a dual-CCD CPU should have 24 cores. If a Zen 6 12-core can deliver these performance levels, what kind of performance will a 24-core CPU deliver?
