AsRock releases X99 BIOS Updates for Broadwell-E Support

 

AsRock has released new X99 BIOS Updates that add Broadwell-E support to their current lineup of X99 motherboards, allowing users of AsRock motherboards to upgrade with ease when Intel releases their next generation of X99 CPUs.  

Intel X99 Broadwell-E series of CPUs will offer increased clock speeds and IPC improvements over their Haswell-E Variants, as well as offer increased core counts in the high end, with Intel 6950K having 10 CPU cores and 20 total threads.

Intel's Broadwell-E Lineup of CPUs are not available on the market yet, but right now AsRock is one of the few manufacturers that stands ready for when they do. It is expected that other motherboard manufacturers will release new BIOS revisions over the coming days or weeks.
