AsRock unveils their Z170M-PIO2 motherboard with an angled PCIe slot

AsRock has unveiled their new Z170M-PIO2 motherboard with an angled PCIe 3.0 expansion slot for PIO compliant small form factor cases.

This new motherboard allows PC builders to connect their GPU in parallel with their motherboard, allowing the GPUs rear IO to appear alongside the motherboard's rear IO. This new form factor is an emerging standard for small form factor PC cases which does away with the need for PCIe riser cards.
