ASUS Z890 Pricing leaks through US Retailer
Is Z890 going to be expensive? Here are some early price listings for ASUS’ Z890 offerings
Preliminary pricing for ASUS’ Z890 motherboard range has been listed on the US website HSSL. These prices were first spotted by @momomo_us on Twitter. While these prices may not be entirely accurate, they set expectations for Intel’s Z890 chipset motherboards.
Intel’s Z890 motherboards and Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 200) CPUs are due to be released next month. Based on the prices below, they are expected to cost between £200 and £1000. Higher-end Z890 offerings should feature more connectivity options, faster networking capabilities, and more PCIe/M.2 slots. That’s pretty standard as far as motherboards go. While this is unlikely, I hope that 10Gb ethernet will be more common on high-end motherboards this generation. If everyone wants to push faster networking with WIFI 7, then they should do the same with their wired connectivity.

So, are these prices accurate? Not entirely. The pricing for ASUS’ ITX Z890-I motherboard is likely to be inaccurate. After all, that is a very high price for a Mini-ITX motherboard. That said, such a price could be justified if this motherboard packs enough features.
Currently, we expect the pricing of ASUS’ Z890 motherboards to be broadly similar to that of their Z790 counterparts. Sadly, users of older Intel motherboards will not have an upgrade path to Arrow Lake, as it uses a new motherboard socket.
