Computex is bringing forth many new launches and Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) are at the forefront with some really good launches of their own. After showing off their ultra-slim PC box for the Intel Pineview CPU yesterday, ECS today unveiled their new Micro ATX Black Series motherboard.
Â
The ECS A785GM-M is based on the AMD 785G and SB710 chipsets, a combination that promises to deliver unparalleled performance with high energy efficiency. The motherboard is designed for the latest 45nm AMD Phenom II processors and can accommodate dual channel DDR3 1333MHz memory. It also features ATI Hybrid graphics technology for out-of-the-world visual clarity.
Â
According to ECS, the Black Series ECS A785GM-M is the perfect digital home entertainment solution. With its integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics core, the motherboard supports DirectX 10.1 and is Window 7 ready. High-end cooling, all solid capacitors, and a 5 phase power design with support for up to 125W TDP processors make the ECS A785GM-M a power-house of performance.
Â
The motherboard carries forward the ECS Black Series motherboard legacy with its Ultra I/O Rear panel and the proprietary ECS M.I.B. II overclocking utility. The rear panel also sports D-sub 15 pin/ DVI/ HDMI connectors, making the motherboard compatible with various home entertainment solutions.
Â
On the whole, the Micro ATX ECS A785GM-M motherboard does full justice to its Black Series label through its seamless combination of power and performance.
